An all-inclusive excursion to experience the best of today's tango dance & music, in an intimate "terraza" setting. Food, drink, music, dance and the chance to get to know some of the top touring tango artists of today.

Appetizers

Enjoy a "picada" of artisanal meats and cheeses, along with delicious veggies and dips. Drink choices include wine, beer and the tango cocktail of choice, Fernet with Coke.

Concert & Tango Show

In the intimacy of the terrace, we'll enjoy a tango show with live music, featuring two of the top touring tango dance couples in the world today. Music will include classic and new Argentine tango, as well as folkloric music from throughout Argentina. The artists vary depending on availability.

After the show, we'll enjoy a traditional Argentine asado together, with additional veggie options included. Salads, chimichurri, breads and lots of wine will complete the table. The artists will mingle and dine with the group.

The excursion price includes:

Transportation to and from the show venue, the Sol de Abasto hotel & event space in the Abasto neighborhood of Buenos Aires
A one-hour tango music & dance show
Appetizers

Unlimited drinks: red & white wine, beer and fernet with coke (the typical tango cocktail)
The chance to learn a few steps of tango or Argentine folk dance for those who may be interested. (Totally optional!)

$150 USD paid by credit card in advance
(A discount may be available for those who are able to pay cash in advance.)

Events take place on "terrazas" throughout Buenos Aires. Currently, our main venue is the terraza of the beautiful "Sol de Abasto" hotel in the Abasto neighborhood.

Take a peek at a Tango en la Terraza in-person event...

Tango en la Terraza was born as an online tango concert series, which kept audiences around the world entertained during the pandemic shutdown.

Since the re-opening, Tango en la Terraza has been offering in-person and hybrid (online/in-person) events to keep tango audiences connected with tango artists, and keep the art form of tango growing into the future.
