Born in Argentina in 1974, Augusto Latorraca was trained as a visual artist.  He began his professional career as a set designer and set builder, working in the theater and in performance spaces like La Usina del Arte, Metropoitan and Teatro Regina.  He served as Art Director in the world of film, working on diverse projects from shorts to well-known feature films like "El patrón,” by Sebastián Schindel, "Esteros," by Papu Curotto, and "Yo, adolescente," by Lucas Santa Ana, among others.  He is now directing his own projects, with a particular interest in dance in general, and the art of flamenco, in particular.  You can learn more about Augusto on his IMDB page.
